About TRAC

“TRAC” is the acronym for the Terwillegar Riverbend Advisory Council, a society formed under the Alberta Societies Act on December 1, 2003 under the direction of the three active community leagues in the Terwillegar/Riverbend area: Riverbend, Brookview and The Ridge.

Each of Terwillegar Riverbend’s 18 neighborhoods, plus outlying areas, is represented by a “Community Ambassador”. The communities include:

History of TRAC

INCORPORATION:

A meeting was hosted by The City of Edmonton on April 27, 2002 to bring together citizens, Community Leagues and Home Owners Associations of the area. Out of the meeting, the concept of a president’s council/area council was born.

The group met over the course of the next 18 months and TRAC received it’s Certificate of Incorporation on December 1st, 2003.

TRAC creates opportunities for events and programs to enrich the fabric of community life.

TRAC collaborates with stakeholders to develop physical spaces.

TRAC employs a sound and sustainable financial model to support its activities.

TRAC communicates its vision, celebrates its accomplishments, and promotes its capabilities.

TRAC works to engage a more diverse demographic.

TRAC engages with its communities to determine interests, needs and future direction.

TRAC develops a governance infrastructure to achieve its mission and vision.

TRAC expands its services as a community link.

TRAC identifies, leverages, and implements the collective resources to the benefit of our community.

Office Hours: 

Mondays: 10 am – 2 pm  & Tuesdays: 10 am – 2 pm
Thursdays: 4 pm – 8 pm

1st Saturday & 3rd Saturday of the month: 12 noon – 4 pm

If purchasing a community league membership, acceptable methods of payment include cash, cheque – made payable to ‘TRAC’, debit or e-transfer.
